I'm not trying to turn my bike into a drag bike but I did put a set of 20" paddles. I would strongly recommend regearing it.
I put mine on on Sunday and it deff. takes a little longer to rev out. On Saturday with knobbies I was able to play catch up once I hit 3rd gear. On Sunday (with paddles) I could only hold them. I lost some oommph as I wasn't able to real'em/walk them like I was doing on Saturday....

I'm running 10in rims with 20 in sandstars and did notice it lagged a bit but still had no problems pulling people once in 3rd. The stock gearing is set for running the 18in tires.
