hi i got a 86 lt250 and im trying to get a micuni carb rebuilt.can anyone tell me what size main jet should be in it?.ive got a 42 in it and a friend told me he thought it was to small.

I have an 86 lt250r and on the stock card I had a 190 main with an K&N and FMF fatty. Try a search in these forums. I found a ton of info on 250r jetting for our bikes.

i dont know if that is my trouble or not,the bike runs good,it idles pretty good but has no power.any suggestions would be appreciated.

Well if you have a 42 main in there. I would change that in a hurry.

thanks for the help,im going to call the local dealer to get his input and order the right ones,the trouble is there a 100 miles away.anyways thats my problem,any more input about what else the problem might be with the bike would be appreciated.thanks again
