230S valve timing

Default 230S valve timing

i know the bike had lots of power before the stator went.i put another stator in and that was the result,no power.could it have been the wrong stator?i really appreciate the help though

Anything is possible but I would not go there first. As long as you got the key in the correct position you should be good to go on the stator. Everything points to a lean condition.
It's really tough to diagnose an engine over the net.

One thing is for sure, the intake valve should not be opening when the piston is coming up. When it gets close to TDC, sure, but not when the piston is coming up in the bore.

i know it is,its even tougher to tell people what its doing without sound,lolyou wouldnt know what jets and stuff came stock on them would you?

Ha ha ha ha.....ya, I know what you mean.
Sorry, I don't know about the stock jets. Someone else on here does for sure.
BTW, do a compression and see what you get. That should tell you a bunch.

well it has enough compression to rip the handle out of your hands,im not sure how much that is
