I have a 1985 LT250. When I bought the quad it came with a Keihin PJ36 in the parts box. The guy wasnt sure if it worked. So we replaced the broken choke. And rebuilt it. But it doent idle very well (but does... kinda).
And when trying to accelerate on the high end it boggs.

Maybe this isnt a needle and seat question??? Ive tried everything I can think of. And about 3 hours of adjusting the idle adjustment, and the air screw.

This quad ran great with the mikuni that was on it.
Not many mods. But they are.
FMF pipe.
Wiesco piston.
Complete motor rebuild (3 months ago) :-)

Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

First, If it's bogging on top-end, it's probably more a main jet problem than a needle one. Have you done a plug chop yet ? If yes, how does the plug looks ?
