Default quadrunner 250 help

If I not mistaken the quadrunner 250 is a utility quad correct with 4x4. The dipstick should be at the rear of the quad on the right side if you are sitting on it. You will see a little glass window and there should be a dipstick. I don't have one so I haven't changed the oil on it but look under the engine and there should be a plug under there just loosen that plug up and the oil will drain out There may be springs or other components that come out along with the plug make sure you keep track of the order. Then once that is all drained take out the old oil filter which should be on the engine somewhere. Now I am taking a guess since I don't have one but I am sure someone on here does or has had one my friend has one and I know for certain the dipstick is in the back but am not positive on the other stuff I am just going from the design of how my ozark 250 is.

Default quadrunner 250 help

OK, here is what I know. I have a 1999 Suzuki quadrunner 4x4. These things are pretty kewl if you ask me. It doesn't have a dipstick. It has a window in front of th right rear tire. kind of old time deal but my 1999 Kawasaki Vulcan Classic has the same thing. if you see oil you should be in fairly good shap. you can also see how dirty the oil is. The filter is located right behind that. I use a floor jack and take the back tire off when I change the oil. The oil plug is right behind the axel on the bottem. Behind the skid plate. You cant miss it. I hold 3.8 Qt's of oil. Always use 10w 40. Suzuki is big on wanting you to use there oil. They say they have an addative for the Trans. I am going to use Mobil 1 this time and get the 15,000 mile stuff just to see if there is a diff. That is what I am currently running in everything I own. Includeing my Kawasake 1500 Vulcan. You can pick up a filter at NAPA for around $10. I am a 280lbs guy and this thing has no issues pulling me, my 10ft box stand, and a deer on the front rack. Freaking stout machine. I have over 12,000 miles on mine. My kids are getting older so I will prob trade next year. Hope this helps.
