LTR450 VS HONDA 450 VS YFZ450
This answer usually depends on which forum you post this question on to be honest with you.
Since I own an LTR and have ridden my friends '06 450R and YFZ's, completly stock the 450R usually wins out of the showroom with the YFZ in 2nd and the LTR in 3rd. BUT, as soon as you remove the airbox lid, remove the peashooter/spark arrestor and add the $40 cherry bomb to the LTR, the LTR takes both the 450R and YFZ's with the same mods(with jetting of course) except for the CB(which is not offered for those others). All three still had the stock pipes/headers. Keep in mind that rider ability also plays a big factor.
Not a bad outcome for a $40 part and about 5 min in effort.
Granted, you can throw $$$ into any of these quads and try to 1-up the other but I was giving examples of bone stock 06 quads with the most minor mods done secondly. I was really close to getting the YFZ myself in Jan till I heard the LTR was being released shortly. I'm now glad I waited for the LTR.

LTR450 VS HONDA 450 VS YFZ450
as for the fastest 450, 3 of my buddies have 450s all r diff. but they all have full exhaust and jetted, the 45r has esr pipe, the yfz has a alba pipe, and the ltr has a yoshi, and in a 300 ft dirt drag it comes down to who gets the holeshot between the yfz and the r the ltr is only behind 1/2 a bike o yeah and they all had razr2 tires
