KQ 450 on Suzuki's website
Everything is the same except for the motor and no light on the handlebars, length, width, and height are all the same. $6499 MSRP $1000 less than the KQ 700.

Finaly!.
Unfortunately it probably won't be available in Canada for another year.
(does an ol samity sam Ratzfratzinmumbgrumble).
I wish suzuki.com would have given us (at least ) a 360 deg view on the web page.
I enlarged and enhanced the photo on the site. The head lamp on the handle bars seems to be in those two slots
on the center (green ) mounting for the speedometre, and readouts.
The handlebar lights are probably 40 watts throw (throw = total output from bulb and reflector(s)) I doubt that the lights (lightbulbs) are very large as it's not a good idea to have something (normaly: head lamps)that generates so much heat near the electronics.
I deperately want the 2007 KQ 450.
.. Dear Santa.........
.. OK I know LAME.

Yep 17.5litres, or 4.72 US Gallons, or 3.86 gallons IMP.
Also i'm curious as to if its'realy the same frame as the kq 700. Funny thing that the 450kq is 4 pounds heaver than the 700 even if it's 250cc's smaller . That's goto be a typo on suzuki's part. I understand the need to add additional weigth to offset the lower engine weight. However that seems to defeat the purpose of having a lighter /smaller machine.
Oh yes! did any one hear if the new 450kq has a recoil pull starter? I didn't see any listed in the specs. If a recoil starter can start an atv with a fuel injection system that requires electricity to run.
Thanks
