Anyone know where I can find an after market coil for this machine ? Dealer wants 145.00 new. I hate to give this much when I'am just guessing. I know the coil isn't firing but , that's all . If any of you know how to check the electronics that supply the coil & are willing to share that info. it would be greatly appreciated.

You check them with an ohm meter.
You will need to get the specs from a dealer.
You could do a search, this has been gone over before. I think the stator reading was 175-180.
If all else fails, I ould send you parts to try.

I kinda think it's the coil I turned the ignition (engine ) over today & had my volt meter set on the 12 volt scale & got some on& off readinge out of the wires that plugs into the coil.I tried to check the coil (where the wires that feed the coil connect) I got no readings on any ohms scale
thanks for the input
thanks lt80 pro rider .
Do you know where I could get a cheap coil to try on this thing? I would love to sell it as my kids are too big for it now so, I don't want to put too much money in it.

It's hard to say if anyone is close seeins you (and others) do not put your city/state in the profile.
