Go with CT racing for engine porting. As far as pipes paul turner makes an alright pipe. The best that I know is the FMF.

I've never had luck making good power with an FMF. I'm not sure the engineering is there, especially on a modded engine. Seems more like a one pipe fits all type of deal.

Tony at T&N per did all my work. Very strong and reliable runs 4.5s 300ft stock frame +8 SWING ARM. Dq makes a very good in frame pipe. Tonys #801-731-5199.

I see you've already found Doc (RK)... He's an absolute "Wizard" when it comes to the 500's.
I'll give a quick plug for his engineering work in pipe/port design and get off here...

All other pipes are sub-optimal in comparison. My old antique flat RIPS way better than I could ever imagine... Makes a stocker look like a 250. There is no other pipe available for the 500's that perform like his.... Period! Even the highly sought-after LRD wasn't even close.... (I sold mine on fleabay)
My motor is also ported to his specs and I couldn't be happier.

My $.02
