trx motor in lt frame
#3
A friend of mine blew up his LT 250 and he wanted to go with the TRX motor because you can get more aftermarket motor kits for them and alot more power in the long run.

2strokes are easy to rebuild anyway.

Both engines are 2 strokes if what he is talking about is the trx 250r and lt250r and it depends on what year engine you get some years were better then others power and performance wise so I would have your friend research what years are better...You could porb do the switch but will need to make some mods to the frame build the frame around the engine and reinforce week points...I would also gusset the frame...Somethign that would be even better would be to put a banshee engine in the frame if he is going to make the switch anyhow.

The LT motor can't be rebuilt? There are still a few builders that will hook up an LT engine and rebuilding his current one has to be cheaper than buying a whole different engine and then modding the frame to except it.
