Help!! Quadmaster 500 splitting crankcase
#1
I just aquired a 2000 Quadmaster 500 Auto, Needless to say it required some work and I have the engine down to the crankcase. For the life of me I can't figure out how to get this thing apart. I've rebuilt some tough engines but this one seems to be welded together.
Has anyone had a similar experience and succeeded in getting it apart. Right now it is in the shop hoping that the faries will visit and magically seperate it for me.
I have tried the heating with heat gun and tapping with hammer the seam between the halves is too narrow to get a razor blade into it to cut it apart without damaging the surfaces.
Is there a special tool that is required to get it apart.

I don't really know whats wrong, possibly hidden bolts.split a case on an older suzuki two years ago and had trouble getting case apart, finally found 1 or 2 bolts somewhere unexpeced.
I just purchased a quadmaster 500 automatic to, how much trouble would it be to change belt.
