lt80 rattle noise

Default lt80 rattle noise

I would like to know if any have experience this problem.I have a 95 lt80 bike run fine but I hear a rattle noise comming around the piston area (it sound like if there is bolt loose)I rev engine up, gets a little louder.Checked all bolt,they check good including head bolt.Please help!Im getting my daughter bike ready for glamis.Thanks![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

Do a compression check. Sounds like piston slap. Lets eliminate that aspect.
Clutch maintenence too.
Where you camp at Glamis? Gecko? Ogilby? washes?
Glamis rules!

I'll check compression.Bye the way,what should compression be at.what type of lube can I use to lube the roller on the clutch and do you need special tools to remove the clutch and if so where can I buy them?.Thank![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] (I dont know the location,but what I do know is near the restroom&showers every time we go to glamis.)

Ok! check compression is at 120psi.so now I check the roller and they where gumed up.Replase all roller and clean,But im having problems installing belt back on. please help!thanks![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

Ok! lt80 thanks!ok this morning I bouble check my plate movable drive and face movable drive where realy damage.Called local dealer and the parts where discontinue.Can you help me out![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] or should I go with a aftermarket one.

Discontinued eh.....
There is nothing aftermarket for the clutchs. I can get any part in there I'm sure. Most are updated part numbers.
I'm not 100% sure of what parts you are talking about.

Go there and get in the fiche and tell me what page and what number ie: 1-2-3-4-6,,etc..

thanks! lt80 found the parts from a dealer next city down from where i live.36.12 &4.23 total little more than 40.00 dollars out the door.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
