i doubt you will see any power gains from removing your baffle, it will be just like putting on an aftermarket exhaust, you will probly need to rejet to gain any power.

It will probably look really ugly too if you take of the endcap, it did on my ds250 so i put it back on. TAKING OFF THE ENDCAP WILL NOT RESULT IN POWERGAINS...... it might be more exciting to ride a louder but it will only result in an andreniline rush, THE ANDRENALINE WILL GIVE YOU THE STRENGTH TO YANK UP THE FRONT END AND WHEELIE NICELY, MAKING IT APPEAR AS IF YOUR QUAD HAS GOTTEN *****, BUT IN REALITY, ITS ONLY YOU!

(i read this in an article in dirt wheels, it was talking about how we should get quiter pipes for our machines so we dont lose our trail privileges, there's people that take of the endcaps and sometimes entire exhaust because they think they will see a power gain because of the loudness )

I'm not mad, just don't take your knowledge of what you don't know and putting it off on him (knowing a lot about nothing in other words).

The ltz250 sounds a lot better without a baffle, it's nothing compared to his brother's z400 or my ltr450 without one. .
