has anyone had a problem with the rear brake pin that lifts the drums up and down from freezing up?? used 2 cans of wd-40 and a can of pb blaster with still no luck........................any advice on freeing the brake up?? Steel pin in a aluminum housing so I'm kinda scared to but to much pressure on it.

OK so I'm the only one that ever had this prob???? It's not the brake cable both are disconnected, drum housing is off..........the rod that goes from the out side to the inside is still froze up.......little over a year old 2005 model .....
is there a disk brake conversion kit available anywhere???
I used to drag race a suzuki 1150 in southern cal in the late 80s but it seems suzuki went down hill from there'

yea i also had this same problem
it happens cuz water is getting in ur brakes
the best thing to do is take EVERYTHING apart and clean it all good
as far as the pin you are going to have to hammer it out
but BECAREFUL cuz if u do it too hard you are gonna knockout a piece in the housing
once u get it out clean it good with WD-40/Carb Cleaner and grease it up
also buy new o-rings
hope this helps
