Default z400 problems, Help please

I was riding my z400 last weekend when it stopped all of a sudden it stopped running. When i tried to start it was like the battery didnt have enough power to turn it over but even once i hooked it up with jumper cables it seems like air is puffing backwards out of the carbarator when it tries to turn over. What is the problem and what could have caused it, and how much will it cost to fix it. Any help will be appreciated.

Maybe you threw a timing chain? Try taking the plug out and seeing if it turns over. Kinda hard to diagnose something like this without seeing it.

i figured it had something to do with the timing chain, and sorry for my ignorance, but i dont know how to look at it exactly, my knowledge of engines is very basic, so any further explanation would be great
