king quad 450 mpg
#3
I just looked at a 450 today. They wanted $6,2?? before tax. Had my eye on one for a while, then I was thinking for $500 more it would be better to go with the Sportsman 500 EFI. I thought the Sportsman came with a winch, but that's only the delux. After talking to the dealer, he pointed me back the 450 KQ. The Sportsman is still a good ATV but the KQ is ligher, more of a sporty feel and still strong enough to get the work done.
I would like to know more on how the 450 compares to the 500's in power wise.
Also not sure about this choke lever on the 450 that also has EFI. I feel if the EFI works like it should, then you shouldn't need this, not?

Is there someplace you can go online to find horse power numbers?
The lever has a "choke" symbol on it. I'm sure it works different then a choke, but if there is a problem with the EFI, then I don't think this lever is the fix.

On a 22 mile ride, all muddy technical trails and snow with two new quads my partner on his 700 claimed he used close to three gallons of gas ,has to be better with a full break-in we hope, my new 450 Suzuki King Q uad used less than two gallons, nothing to brag about on either quad, but it'll get better, hopefully.
