lot of good stuff in there. if your looking for more power. look into getting a cam and dg RCM or Chromepower pipe. mine was VERY fast when i had the 230 motor still in it.

LOL........I am thinking of installing my YZ250 setup into my wifes 86 LT230 because I blew her engine awhile back.......The size of the quad would be real fun, but I'm sure the suspention wont take the abuse

well worth the time. but in that quad i liked the 4 stroke low end because it was wheelie crazy with the 4 stroke, but the 2 stroke its a rocket lol. no vibration problems eaither like everyone thinks. no gusseting needed. never failed me since the first time i kicked it. if anyone is interested and has a CR250 Motor they wanna put in thiers i can make carbon copys of my mounts... but yea worth the effort.

Bubba,
Your quad is sick, i tried to base mine around it, yours looks deadly and with teh CR250 motor in it is lethal i bet, ANyways can you send me a pic of the engine mounts you made and some dimensions of the brackets. The cr250 swap maybe be in the works so that would help a tun. paulters@hotmail.com

Cheers
Paul

A exhaust can make 6,7 more horsepower for that model!

Hey Guys, i am new to the forum and am looking for performance parts for my 86 lt230s quadsport. I found vinces cycle online one day and emailed him for part availability and he responded by telling me he is getting rid of his inventory and no longer selling parts... does anyone one know where i can find a nice exhaust set up along with other performance parts? Whats the best bang for the buck etc?
