hey guys & gals.............great web site, alot of great info flowing threw here!

just alittle back ground: this is our first ATV purchase since i was back on the farm in NE and me and my dad used a Polaris to run the fields! i'm a diesel/heavy equipment mechanic, been out of the Marines for a year now after 7 years in, mud racing is our #1 hobby!!

i've read reviews, testimonies, talked to owners and we decided on an '07 VINSON to serve our ocassinal trail/mud riding and pit vehicle for the race purposes! i tested a friends Forman 500 (not bad at all), a guys Eiger 2x4 (again, not bad at all)! and my father-in-laws Artic Cats (ok, but just lacked soemthing)! i chose the VINSON after hearing about the AWSOME low end torque (along with low range also), and the exceptinal top end also, for play, and to provide a pulling ATV for the mud pits. i wanted an ATV that would pull our mud drag truck (79 chevy on 38.5's, 500+ RWHP) back to the staging area from the finish line to aid in the cooling process for further rounds of racing)!!

as you all probably know the details, but here's an overview:
07 VINSON, Green (not what i wanted but $ said go for it), 4x4, bone stock, $5900 out the door (tax,title,ect...) including a 12mo warranty (18mo total).

the only major mod i have planned is a good set of mud grips with a set of extra rims. a guy i work with has a set of some mud tires (w/ about 40mi on them) that he hasn't used in a couple years, so he's giving me a "work buddy" deal of $100 w/ rims! i don't plan on anything major till the warranty is up, even this it will probably be little stuff, nothing to crazy!

congrats on the Vinson, I've got almost 5300km on my 04 so far hope to put another 25 or 30 thousand at least on it.
