A dealer told me to make a offer on a left over 2006 vinson manual shift. I think Iwill offer him $5800 out the door. Hew said he would try to match anybody elses price . What would be a good price? Is 5800 too high?

 

I can get a 2007 Automatic Vinson for $5300. $5800 is too much in my eyes for a 2006 manual. I would offer them less than $5000. Maybe $4700.

 

i'm not a 4wheeler goo-roo, but after calling around to about 9 different dealers i found 2 that wanted to negotiate on my 07 Vinson choice!

MSRP in Louisiana is $6200 and it is about $6900 out the door. i delt with a dealer in Natchez MS and wheeled and dealed down to $5900 out the door with a 18mo warranty! once the dealer in La hit rock bottom i brought up the price in Ms, then they dropped again, and so on and so forth till Ms hit rock bottom, and La couldn't touch them!

what it boiled down to:
07 Vinson $4900
La tax/title $700
extended 12mo warranty (18mo total) $300

$5900 out the door! it might sound alittle high but the DAMN taxes here in LA are a killer!

if those dealers WANT to sell that bike, they'll try there butt off to get your sale! same as car dealers!
