Default z250 idle problem

i have a 2004 ltz 250 with a yoshi exhaust and a dyno jet jet kit, twin air filter with no lid. the kit has been in for like a month now. when i start it up it smokes for like a minute and a half then stops. it also doesnt idle very well until it is warm.sometimes i have to ride around with the choke on so it doesnt stall. could this be a problem with the jet kit?

Not sure about the smoke..is it just condensation, or smoke? Does it disapate or hang around?
Did you replace the pilot jet with a bigger one, or just unscrew the mixture screw a bit further? How many turns out is the mixture screw. If its more than 3.5 or 4 turns, its time to up the pilot jet.
