Default 06 suzuki eiger winch wiring

on the 06 eiger they have the wires for the winch already on the bike. so i installed the winch yesterday and attached the wires on the winch end one is blue one is yellow which is the positive and which negative. and i traced the wires back and they go to the back of the bike and i also see what i believe is the wires for the switch for the winch. can any one tell me how i can wire the winch in using the suzuki factory wiring. also were is the relay for the winch is there one ? i know how to wire a winch i put on on my arctic cat but this isnt my bike so i was hoping to try to utilize the factory wiring.the winch kit came with everything i need but i didnt know if there was one already installed thanks for the help.

Did the winh come with everything? It should have a relay that you attach the blue and yellow wires to. On the relay you also attach the black and red wires and run the, to the battery. Get some zip ties so the wires dont touch the muffler. On the relay there should be green wires they plug into a harness on the bike. It might sound confusing but the Eiger is pre wired very good.

so were do i mount the relay ? because the wires that go to the winch are tucked up under the rear plastics which makes me think that the contactor would get mounted back there. so then i run power to the contactor and then i attach the swich wires to the bikes switch wires? are the switch wires at the handlebars? it seems like a pretty descent idea i just need to figure what they had intended for everything thanks

The relay goes on the back of the storage box take it down it is already pre-drilled. The control switch goes up by the start button. take the cover around the speedometer off the switch wires are right there just plug them together.

I am glad you got it. When I did mine a zip tie broke and the red wire stuck on the muffler.. It blew fuze's and my battery died.. So I had to get a new battery wire and re-do it.. Ok now go get stuck and use it...
