i just bought a left over 06 450. i have a couple of questions. can i pull the bafle out with out buying a cherry bomb? and if i buy the cherry bomb do i have to remove the airbox lid? reasons: i want it louder, and as far as the air box lid, my son has a kazuma 90 and loves the water and mud. ya i either gotta go through first or go in and get him out. another thing i noticed yesterday while ridding when i was jumping it seemed to bog when i bumped the throttle over in the air? anyone expierience this? i've raced motocross for many years on bikes and yes they were all 2 strokes. this is my first 4stroke. i was carrying my speed through the air and cracked it before i landed as i did on my bike but it bogged down? just curious. thanks

 

I would get the cherry bomb. take the airlid off, and remove the baffle.. you should notice a pretty good gain.... As far as bogging i have no clue

 

I hear that a lot of stock bikes (new) kind of bog. All it needs is a re-jet/cherry bomb.

 

i think you should go with the cherrybomb and take your baffle out, pull the lid off your air box and you will be pretty happy with the power gains after only spending $40. As for the noise just taking your air box lid off makes it way louder. Have fun.
