Is the front bumper (connects to frame near front axle and to the front rack) the same for the 2003 Eiger as the 2004? Can anyone point me to a place to find either a decent used front bumper or a good priced new front bumper for a 2004 Eiger?

That ebay auction is what was driving my question. Since mine is a 2004, I wanted to make sure that ebay item for a 2003 Eiger bumper would work. My research seemed to make me believe it would, and it sounds like you're agreeing.

I didn't end up getting the bumper on ebay. I got stuck in a meeting at work and couldn't get to my computer to bid. Oh well, It went for $77 plus $25 for shipping. I thought that was a little much for one thats dented, bent, and a little rusty anyway. Thanks though for your help on this. I'll keep watching. Let me know if any of you find any other bumpers at a good price.

 

yeah, you gotta be careful on ebay. some deals turn into not a very good deal VERY fast in the heat of bidding. I'll keep an eye out.

 

i bought all my skids and bumpers on ebay. ex. Front bumper for my eiger - $24 + 12 shipping brand new

 

That was an excellent find! They also have a sweet deal on alarm/remote starters for the Eiger on Ebay .Sometimes you can find good deals there.

 

it was, however, it added 2 to 3 inches to the overall length. Now i'm having trouble getting all the bikes on the trailer. I might have to take it off.
