z250 60mph+?

would it be better to bore it or higher compression?? i was thinking of boring mine but my mechanic told me that it would be better to go with higher compression because the bore will make it run hotter and not that much more power comes out since you would only be able to bore 1mm or so.

yes its most likely possible stock i think goes about 56-57 or so correct me if im wrong but it also depends what your weight is. i only weigh about 130. but with some decent aftermarkets you can probably get it above 60 or even just give it alot higher torque by increasing some horsepower and such.

Boring makes no speed difference. Boring is a power thing.
The wifes LT230 prolly hit 50 and could easyly be re-geared for speed.
The Z250 has no gearing changes so if it don't do 60 stock you have to do something like put taller tires on or do motor work that would make a rpm increase. ie: pipe, carb, cam.
