Default Iridium Spark Plugs

Thought I would try out this new Iridium plug. What a joke !!! Not to mention the $10 price tag. Got 2.2km and fouled up and stalled out. Changed back to regular and no problems.
Anybody else try these yet?

The Iridium is a great plug. The Iridium produces spark more easy cuz of being a resistor plug.
I'm guessing that the original plug has a "P" on it. Does your Iridium?
The P means protruded. They are made that way as to have the end of the plug farther into the explosion of the mixture. This keeps a plug clean on a low rpm motor.
I include a Iridium plug with my motor kits.

Just put one in, so I haven't had a chance to really check it out. This was on a 2 stroke, and I'm hoping it keeps the fouling down. Wanted one for the kfx, but they didn't have an iridium.

Mine was only (like it was a bargain) 6.99 at O'Reilly's.

Well I see that didn't do a great job of explaining (as usuall).
What I meant was the Iridium will fire more easy with a weaker spark (stock ignitions). The resistor plug takes more juice and the non resistor plugs are no longer made.
ie: I was using a B8HVX, now that they are not available, I run the BR8HIX cuz of the stock ignition. The book says it fires almost as easy as the non resistor plug.

The "P" thing is prolly the mosty important. Not "P", it will foul faster.

the plug was CR7EIX

Don't really know what that all means but i rode 2km shut it off and would not start for anything. Pulled the plug and was totaly black. Changed back to reg and no problems since.
Do you think it was a bad plug?

I guess anything is possible.
Does the stock plug have a P in it?

Interesting. Mine calls for the same plug. Wish they had it and maybe could offer a little more insight.

The one I put in the wifes was actually a little more tan the the stock plug. I figured it would burn a little better, but then again, that was for a 2 stroke.
