I bought an 2007 Eiger in early January. Great machine. I haven't added anything to it, still completely stock. A couple of days ago I took it out and really ran it for the first time. Been riding easy for the first ten hours like the book says. Figured I'd see what top end is. Hit 57 mph on level dirt road. I'm about 200 lbs. Is this normal for an Eiger and what would jetting, exhaust or K & N airfilter add to that?

thats about normal. jetting and exhaust might bring it up to about 60-63

 

Jetting/exhaust/filter will make it quicker (get to top speed faster) but I don't really know that it will make it faster (raise top speed). It's the rev limiter that makes it stop at top speed so I would think you would have to do the opposite of a performance clutch kit to raise the top speed.
