Default Z400?

Ok guys, got a question.

Just built a Z400 to a Z485. +5mm stroker crank, hotcams, port polish, 95.5mm piston, DRZ valve springs, DRZ gaskets, 3 way valve job, Yoshimura RS3 full pipe, K+N air box lid and filter, Trail Tech Vapor guage, ESR mechanical guage, D.I.D cam chain, a 39mm FCR carb (guy likes to play in the woods) and many many more parts.

My question is what do you guys think about jetting. Were a Sudco dealer and talked to there tech department and they said a 195 main, 1 size larger on the pilot and 1 clip on the jet needle. There was a 165, went to a 170 main and its lean ( I can run full choke with no hesitation of the engine, running lean I know) Just curious to what you guys thought. Were at 950ft above sea level so no need for high elevation. And man this thing is is a ROCKET!!!!!!

So any info is appreciated! Also got a external adjusting fuel screw but will not work with the Sudco carb kit, huh? But all is good.

Thanks,
Nick

HOLY CHRIST, that thing must be a rocket.

I've never heard of anyone else having a 485. Only a 470 and that thing was spanking 450s with ease.

LETS SEE SOME PICS!!!!

you can even buy the 536 stroker for it if you have lots of money and time. I had the 470 in mine till I blew it up over a month ago. it was fast, and I was running a 182 main in it, a 195 seems about right to start with

I think its a 55 and the needle is on the 5th clip. now with the 440 I had it dyno tuned and it has a 185 main a 52 pilot and the needle is on the 5th clip and it runs just as fast as the 470 did with out all the torque

Ok thanks. How do you like your swingarm? Were going to be putting one on the quad and can only find 1.25+ longer than stock. I would really like to put a 2+ on the bike. Do you have a website that I can do some research with?

Thanks,
Nick (Partsstore)
