Default ltz400 clutch problem

i just replaced my clutch in my 03 z400. it was the original clutch with probably 300 hours on it so i figured it was time to change it. anyways i bought a EBC clutch kit with heavy duty springs. i did it myself. first time ever doing it. asked a few people how to do it. took me a few hours. very easy to do. got on it and rode it. ran like a dream. took it to the track a few days later. no problems.

well friday i took it out for a little spin. the clutch was slipping. i just put it up for the day cuz i was so mad this was happening. the next day i was going to the track. looked through the manual and it said to adjust the clutch lever. i did that and it stopped. took it to the track. rode it for a couple of hours. then it started to slip real bad. i tried to adjust it again but no use. never got it to stop.

what do i do? is there anything that i can do or look for? the clutch only has about 6 hours on it.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Default ltz400 clutch problem

check the clutch basket for wear. if its worn enough the clutch plate might be hanging up on them, or a worn or distorted pressure plate or clutch plate
