2008 Suzuki Eiger
#1
Hi All....I'm in the process of purchasing an Eiger, 2007 model, but rumor has it that the 2008 is getting some performance enhancements but I have been unable to confirm this. Does anybody have any info on the 2008 Eiger, thanks.

a person here nickname Muskoka says the following:
Other than Suzuki's Eiger beefing up a bit and the intro of its' QuadRacer 250R
there was nothing else to report at this time on new King Quad in the "Top Secret"
article.
I wish I could find this top secret article.....

Quad Magazine has something about this in their June/July issue.
"We've been hearing that Suzuki took our criticism to heart and are looking at beefing up the motor a bit for 2008. We have also heard some rumblings that the front end may get a KingQuad-ish restyle, and its rumored that more KingQuads are on the way"
Editors comments on the rumors: "Partially true...The only thing we think may happen is a motor revamp at this stage. Even thought it may be relatively easier to retool the plastics, at this stage, we still think Suzuki will concentrate on engine performance over cosmetic enhancements"
There is a little more but I dont feel like typing it all

Thanks for the info west350bruin. I am not rushing this pruchase but I am impressed with the 2007 Eiger. But, if something better may be on the way, especially in the engine dept. then I am willing to wait a few extra months. Hopefully the price stays about the same. I initially went to buy an Ozark, which is a nice atv, but then I rode the Eiger and soon forgot about the Ozark. I'll get a copy of Quad mag & read that article, thanks again!....My next biggest decision is whether to get the 5spd. semi or the automatic, anybody have any input? Thanks!
