I cant seem to get it to start.I put a smaller jet in and a new plug.It had a 150 in it so I tried a 140 main jet for starters.Come to find out I have no spark again.I guess it is intermitting.It about zapped the stuffins out of my buddy the other day when it was running but fouling plugs pretty quick.I have double checked all of the wiring and connections.My engine kill switch has been cleaned also.Still NO SPARK!!This thing is driving me crazy!! I have ridden it one day total! I would really like to get it running again.How do I check the coil? I have a multimeter,but cant remember how to do it.Thank you all for the great suggestions and help peps!

 

If its an electrical problem the easiest thing to do is find someone with a lt250 and swap parts untill you find what it is. You can get into some money with electrical components and you cant take them back. Its not hard to swap out stators and cdi and coil, do one at a time and see. Good luck.

 

OK....the black/yellow has power and the black/white wire is grounded good also.All three of the stator wires and ground checked good and work fine.The solid black wire that goes to the coil from the cdi doesnt have power.Guess my coil isnt getting power.Do I need a cdi box?Can I jump it off of another to try it?Thanks
