Default Overheat light 03 Vinson

I sunk my bike in about 6 feet of water recently, and now my overheat light is always on. I changed the sensor on the radiator, didn't do anything. The fan still comes on and off normally, and the light went out briefly on a 100mile ride the other day, but came back on.
I have another cluster I was going to try, but was wondering if anyone has any ideas for me?

If everything is clean from mud {did you wash out radiator} Then it might be some kind of short?
