Default fuel valve problem

here is my problem i put a clear filter (inline) in my fuel line and when i ride the filter seams to empty and the quad stalls during rough turain and hill climbing and wheelies and since wheelie and hill climbs are my favorite thing to do this is a big problem for me, if i stop and put the valve in the prime position (pri) i can squeeze the fuel line pump it to fill the filter back up, so do i need to remove the filter or is thier another problem.
