i just picked this thing up for 75 bucks and new it smoked and may need soem work but it runs decent untill you ohld it wide open then it pops and carries on and ildeing and just puttering along it smokes terrible idk if its mabye the rings or a cracked piston or something can some one help?

 

the motor is probably a lil tired eh lol. i have two 86 230quadrunners. Only one runs. I think 4000+ miles on it and it still runs mint. Body is pretty beat up though.

 

sounds like rings/cylinder. and maybe a carb rebuild. i get most parts from e-bay. also i know a guy in worcester mass. who has lots of parts ,if i can help you 2 connect let me know. good luck
