Is it yours? I need a taillight assembly and a rear grab bar, as I got carried away this weekend doing wheelies, smashed the whole tail light assembly, in about 30 pieces. Bars bent up almost straight. Dont need a bulb socket or bulb that survived. Just wondering if itsyours, maybe I can get a better off ebay deal. If not, ill check it out. I have a 07 z400

Been through the tail light thing.

Most on ebay are running about 30 bucks plus shipping. If the one I saw is from the z he's talking about, it was about 10 bucks cheaper.

I just got a cheap LED light for 20 bucks on ebay.

Not as big as the stock light, so hopefully, it won't get broke again.

Lol, yeah I actually have dumped it over many times before in my driveway, grass etc, but a dirt/stone road bent the bar 5 inches so its straight up , now i have 2 like humps in my plastic, and my decals are scratched up, and my taillight assembly self destructed, but its all in the fun of riding. Do you know if theres a LED one like on the craptors and yfzs that will go right on the suzuki? My dealer told me 23.78 for a complete tail light assebly, which includes wiring, bulb, socket, tail light black housing, red tail light cover, the whole works.

If that's the price the dealer is giving you, buy it. Seems like I got a price of about 50 bucks.

Just about any tail light should work. I did have to make a mount out of a piece of aluminum since the new light was smaller.

The wires of course aren't the same color code, but it wasn't rocket science to figure it out.

Guy actually sent two buy mistake. So I put one on the wifes.

Funny, the light is supposed to just flash when the lights are on, and stop and get brighter when the brakes are hit. It's does the flashing thing on the wifes, but not on my kfx. Which is fine, cause I wasn't real fond of that anyway.

Ill have to stop in at the dealer, it seems like that its 40 dollars on ebay for a LED taillight, and its kinda stupid if you ask me, it has 2 rows of leds and is short so it looks funny. Rather have a long one row yamaha led, but ill just get the stock one if thats a decent price. I think Im going to end up getting a out n back rack one that holds a gas can and a beer cooler, or just bend the stock one back.
