Installed this kit this weekend. Starts up and idles great. But as soon as you touch the gas it boggs and dies.(to lean?)
Took apart to move clip on needle down one notch and found tare in diaphragm. So I think that is my problem. Just looking for other suggestions.
Also on the needle it comes with 2 e clips and washers. I put the e-clip on the second grove like the kit says. Than it looks like both washers are to just sit on top.Is this correct? Also what is the other e-clip for ?

PS Mixture screw is set at 2.5 turns out like kit says. Does this sound to much?

 

The torn diaphragm would be the problem. As for the washers, they are shims, allowing you to richen or lean out the mixture if need be. Keep them in the plastic case for now, until you get the new diaphragm.

So for the neddle do I just put the e-clip on the 2nd notch(as the kit says) and leave the washers out alltogether?
