Kimpex plow mount for '99 KingQuad
#1
I am looking at getting a plow for my '99 King Quad. I am thinking about the Kimpex plow, and would like some more info on how the mounting bracket mounts to the frame. Anyone with some experience willing to share?
I know the Cycle Country mounts to the frame in the front using U-bolts, and bolts on the diag. swing arms mounting point in the rear. I'm not a huge fan of this mount, and am wondering how the Kimpex bolts on. Any experience with reduced clearance and trail riding? Is it really necessary to pull the mount off to trail ride?

Hi,
I just bought a snow plow for my QuadMaster. I looked at the Kimpex but I did not like their system. I found a guy here in the province who makes it's own plow. His system is great. There is one bracket bolted on the front aluminium plate and one on the hitch on the back. The great thing about his system is that the lever is not bolted on the ATV so when you take it off, nothing stays on your bike (except 2 little backets). The price is good to (350$ CDN). So mayby you can call him at (450)835-1389 his name is Gerry.
