I have a new quadmaster 500 and the tires suck. They get flats easily and don't have much traction.I ride mostly on coal banks. What is a good tire and where can i buy them.

I know what you mean about the stock dunlops. Try 27" blackwater XT's. They are a very good all around tire. Ride great on trails, sand, hills. They are better than stock in sloppy mud. They are not the best mud tire, but unless you ride in 12" deep muck and swamps, they'll work great. 27x10-12 front and 27x12-12 rear will fit your stock wheels. You can order them form highlifter.com or most places that sell atv tires. They are a little expensive, rears are around $90 each and fronts are $75.

I know what you mean about the tires. They suck really bad. A matter of fact last week i rolled my new quadmaster because i lost traction on a mountain here in Utah and the machine went end over end three times. The quad never shut off and the only damage was the rear rack. The left side of the rack is now touching the tire. The cheapest I can find a new rack for is about 270 bucks so I'll take my chances with a rubber mallet and a torch for now. For the tires go with the blackwater, vampires or I have a friend that uses 25 in wolly boogers on all four tires and it seems to do fine .
