i had a 2002 eiger, the steering on it was alot easier in 4-wheel drive, this 2007 king quad 450 when you put it in 4-wheel drive on level trails,it ok,but just as soon you start up a hill you better hang on tight, because the steering gets real hard, going down a hill it's the same way............

THE STEERING IS JUST YOUR 4 WHEEL DRIVE GRABING I TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF THAT LEVER WHEN I NEED TO SWITCH FRON 2TO 4 WHEEL AND BACK I USE "GBC DIRT DEVILS 6 PLY" SAME SIZE I HAD FROM TTHE STOCK TIRES BUT MORE AGRESSIVE TREAD. AND 6 PLY 2005 EIGER 4X4

no this isn't the nomal grabing you fill when in 4-wheel drive,i mean it's takes every thing i've got to steer this thing when you're going up and down hills;get back on level ground you fill the normal grabing, i don't have it diff lock neither, just 4-wheel drive..............
