recently bought Ozark 250cc...want new rims...

Default recently bought Ozark 250cc...want new rims...

i honestly dont like the alloy colored rims...id rather powder coat them black or buy a completely new set of rims. i have looked everywhere and i cant seem to find the right size...any places that i may have not already checked? please advise. thanks.

If your going to ride it on the trails your going to ding and scratch up those rims pretty good. So just mask off the tires and paint those babies with your favorite Krylon or Rustolium color pain. After the first initial painting one can should keep them looking flashy. Of course if you bought it to use between the RV and the camp ground store I suppose powder coat pearl is a must.

where can i purchase this kind of paint (auto zone, oreilly's)? how much? does it need a primer?

How about Walmart? You can get many different kinds of spray paint there cheap. Yes, I would use a primer 1st.

i would sand then prime than sand and prime again then a light sand and then 2-3 coats of paint and then some clear ontop of that.

I'd try either motosport.com or denniskirk.com. Just put in the unit that you have and the search engine will bring up parts that fit your unit.
