cherry bomb ,airlid off ,muffler left stock
[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] Just installed my new cherry bomb on my 08 ltr 450 I removed the air box lid and the muffler core , it gives more power for sure but what happens when you need to put the muffler core back in for the aka spark arrester , so do you put it all back to stock or do you leave the cherry bomb in and still leave the airbox lid off
so i call yoshi tec line ,, they told me leaving the cherry bomb on with the air box lid off and the spark arrester in I would still gain noticeable hp better than completely stock. has anybody tryed this allready ?

yes its been tryed ,and you wont like it . there is a very simple spark arrester you can get its not much more than a a flat piece of the right kind of screen, its $20. seams like a rip for no more than what it is . and it has been known to blow out.
one thing we did do was to take a SA from a Yoshi pipe , it will work and is way better than the stock unit , you will have to rig up a way to hold it in ,welding on 2 washers would be about the best way. barrow one from a friend and a think you'll see what i mean
