Default Z400 Brakes

I was hoping somebody could help me out with my Z400 brakes. Basically what happened was one of the two brake pad slider bolts fell out of the assembly. I ordered a new bolt and removed the other bolt and outside pad and continued to ride using only the front brakes. Now that i have the second bolt, i cannot get the brake cylinder to go back in to allow the pads and disc to fit. Ive tried to relieve the pressure in the system but it still wont budge. Do you guys think the cylinder is seized up? I do ride thru some mud and water.

Thanks for any help

p.s. sorry for posting the topic three times. computer is a slow p.o.s. and so is the network i'm on. if a mod could delete the other two that would be great.

you need a C clamp, or a big pair of channel locks and some strong hands

Take the parking brake off or loosen the bolt more than you think. I just encountered the same problem because my had dirt and water in it, If you take the parking brake off the caliper, the piston should compress with your fingers. The brakes are pretty delicate to be taking channel locks to them...IMHO.
