I have a z250 atv and I'm trying to install a tether switch, the switch I bought of ebay makes the connection when the tether is pulled so I guess you would call that a normally closed switch, do I need a normally open switch for this model or am I just not hooking it up right?

I want this on for this weekend ride its for my boy.

Hello, I have never installed one of these switches, but would think that they would all be able to be normally open, how many wires or terminals are on the switch?

 

I tested it and figured out you need a normally closed switch,pingel switch will work,
