Either you weigh more than 250lbs or those springs are in Baaaaaad shape, lol.

I'm not sure, but I've heard they design those quads for 160lb people. Must be an Asian thing coz almost no guy over 18 in the US weighs that little.

nope im just 150 but the schocks are bad
the fronts are ok but it is the rear that is the worst

I was just saying coz my buddy is 250 and he don't have any trouble out of his. Maybe you can just get a used one off ebay? I have a buddy that is 350 and he took it for a ride once. I didn't ask how the shocks felt, but the quad didn't seem to have any trouble with him.

all the ones on ebay look worse than the one i have on there
its hard to tell if they are any good

Did you try tightening the spring preload? 150lbs shouldn't bottom that shock out unless you are jumping over houses.

Does it say in the auction if the shocks work or not? If they don't work you paid thru paypal there are a lot of things you can do from there. Usually nobody wants any bad reviews so they will work it out with you. But at the end, if no agreement can be found, somebody else will decide if you should get your money back. Just make sure the auction says they work and you should be ok.
