OKay I think that want i'll do but i would be nice to see what a lt273s would feel like.how much better r how much stronger would my lt be if i got the head done, Polish ported, new valves( bigger valves). Well a big carb help me with my some time idleing, sometime i can start it and ride and she sit there an run so go, then she got her days it want stay on for nothing maybe a few sec. I always get my gass from the same store half 100gas other half 93gas l've been playing with my carb for a bout 2 to 3 mounts now! chang the main jet about 4 r 5 time and the same with the poilt jet too what can i do</end quote></div>

It only 13cc difference. I doubt it woudl be all that.

Vince says porting doesn't make any difference.

I don't know where you will find bigger valves. Till now I was thinking the 250 had em, but apparently not.

A 28mm flatslide will help a lot, if we can figure out what jets to use, LOL. (inside joke sorta).

I bet your needle is wore out. Take it out and have a look. Look for a worn spot in the middle of the needle. That means you need a new needle and needle jet.
