well the left axle mount broke the weld and moved but i couldnt see at first that the bolts on the opposite were loose
i was wonderin if i could just turn it back and weld it withy some extra bracing
also ik whwere i can get a swingam offan 87 for dirt cheapwill that fit for a spare?
lastly, could i leave it right on the machine to weld it cause i hear its a pain in the *** to get the pivot bolt out

Wait.... did you say quadracer??? The 250 right??? Help my bud out at this link: http://forums.atvconnection.co...id/12/threadid/531636
Seems hard to find somebody with a quadracer lately.
Oh, yeah, a weld will more than hold! I weld all the time. Don't need any bracing or anything. If its a crack in an open area or a crack on a tube, you're best off using a patch, but not always necessary (it depends on "why" it cracked).

I would just weld the original weld.... Give it a couple passes to be sure. It should hold. Wouldn't take me 2 min.
It was probably just a weak weld from the factory that strain hardened and cracked. You must jump a lot to bend the weld back n forth like a coat hanger until it breaks.
