Heated grips on Eiger

Default Heated grips on Eiger

What's the easiest thing to splice into for power for heated grips? Has to be a keyed wire. I'm thinking the 12v cigarette outlet wire, either at the outlet or near the fuse block. Any thoughts?

I'd also go though the Cig lighter.

direct to battery with a good fuse...you will get more heat... mine didn`t get hot enough to feel the heat unless I was bare handed inside of handelbar sleeves...

ps I have 6200 miles on my 04 Eiger I think that qualifies me more than a weekend warrior.... sheesh!!
