how do i tell if the coil is good on model 300
I posted earlier and I think my coil is good because the spark plug is good and strong power. Does anyone know how to check on the coil to see if it is good.
I have a year 2000 Suzuki 300 king quad 4 wheeler...thanks.

how do i tell if the coil is good on model 300
did u tear apart the carb and clean it?
might just not be geting fuel. if u got spark, the the coil is good. if ur geting fuel and spark then ur eather out of time or have to low of compresion.
to check for spark. take out the sparkplug, put it in ur coils plug wire, hold the plug close to engine (use pliers with rubber handles so u dont get shocked), turn the engine over with the starter, and see if ur geting spark at the tip of the plug.
if u got spark, clean the carb and go from there.
