So I got my first real ride in after breaking in my mahcine. I ride in northern california, at a place called CC camp. This riding site is some hills, trails and lots of river bed and river crossings. And dam did my ltr hadle it all like a super champ. I was so comfortable on this machine and so at ease that grabbing 4th and 5th gear in woops and rocky sections was a dream. I totally love this machine, and only manged to bend the metal disk brake skid plate, Oh and a little water made in the airfilter no big deal. EFI is the bomb stuff for sure so responsive and crisp, love that feeling. Now I will get the hot stuff for my machine cherry bomb and IMS foot pegs and nerf bars and a slip on exhuast and pro flow air filter can't wait. Happy riding every body

well i havent lined up against a 700 or 700r that i havent beet.they can beet you in a long run like top speed, but it would take them a while to catch you.if you where on say a full quarter mile race they might catch up because ltr stock is about 75 mph governed they 700 is about 90 mph however the space you create from the start line to the halfway point you will have a few lenghs on them.ltr rules

well as long as you have a pipe with a spark arester you should not have a problem no matter what state you in true the ltr has a low clearance you will need a skid plate.but also if you put 20 inch tires on it instead of the 18 inch tires it comes with you should be fine. oh yeah the ltr has fully adjustable shocks not like a z400 ha ha
