Sorry for bringing this up again but FWIW our King Quad still has the same problem. I replaced the ignition and spark plug boot but it still has the "fading/no spark" issue. I do not have a repair manual but the machine is ready for stator removal. Is there a procedure for testing the stator before taking it out? Values? Any help is appreciated..

 

im having a simalor problem with my 300 kq. did you change the pickup coil.when you changed the stator thats what im lenning toward on mine.
