I just picked up an 86' quadrunner 250 4x4. What do you guys know about them? In particular...do you guys know the "model code" (not sure exactly what its called) for this quad? Is it LT250EF? Because thats the only 250 quad listed on mrcycles for 1986 suzuki other than the quadracer.

Also....in general, how are these quads? Reliable? durable?

LT-4WD. The first yr it was made was for 1987.

I know a fair amount about them. I have one that was in a fire and I'm having to rebuild it. Looks bulletproof to me. I know one weak link is the piston rings if you rev it too high. It has a 66mm bore and a 72mm stroke! Not a combo for revving out. Other than that, I've heard nothing bad about them... They are kinda hard to come across because no one wants to get rid of them.
